Ceremony & Reception

 

Our facility

The barn is 130×33 ft. and will seat around 250 people, while leaving room for dancing and tables for food. There is a large deck connected to the barn so guests can walk out onto the deck and enjoy the views from up high. The Barn has restroom facilities, a prep kitchen for caterers, and dressing facilities for the Groom.

The Bride is welcome to use the cabin next to the barn the day of the event. The cabin has plenty of space to get dressed and gather with friends and family. The Groom dressing quarters are located on the first floor of the barn which includes a ping pong, pool table and flat screen television.

The first floor of the barn can also be used as an extension of the barn reception site for large crowds or as another choice for a rehearsal dinner.

 

GUEST SERVICES

  • Our staff provides parking attendants and shuttles on the day of the event for your guests.

  • Our staff provides table and chair set up for all locations (even if using multiple locations)

  • Our staff provides tear down of tables and chairs after the event

DECORATING

One of the most exclusive offerings of Black Fox Farms is how the venue is decorated uniquely for your event from trees and shrubs off the property. As a working nursery, we have access to help make your ceremony and reception site beautiful with nature. The barn is lit with lighted trees and shrubs—there is no shortage of twinkle lights.

The week of the ceremony, the Bride has the opportunity to meet with the venue staff to discuss color schemes that can be incorporated into the wedding by using plants that are currently in bloom on the property giving the event a personal, unique touch.

During the Christmas season, the barn transforms into a winter wonderland. The barn is decorated with Nobel Firs delivered from Oregon. Along with other Christmas decorations such as wreaths and greenery, the trees are decorated with twinkle lights and baby’s breath. The barn is truly magical during that time of year.

INCLUDED amenities

  • 30 sixty inch round tables (linens not provided) with seating for 8-10 people per table

  • 4 six foot rectangle tables

  • 6 eight foot rectangle tables (linens not provided)

  • 3 forty-four inch round tables (linens not provided)

  • 3 thirty inch round tables (linens not provided)

  • 3 thirty-three inch highboy cocktail tables (linens not provided)

  • 300 white folding chairs

  • Insulated barn with heating and air conditioning

  • Sound system with a 14 channel sound board, 2 speakers,1 monitor, and 3 microphones (not cordless). The sound system can be used for both the outdoor ceremony and reception in the barn. We also have a bluetooth Bose sound system which is perfect for outdoors.

  • Access to decorations like rustic arbors and antique doors for ceremony site

  • Access to the entire property for not only the venue but for photography

  • Access to the event space Friday for a Saturday wedding

  • Option for added rehearsal dinner

  • Black Fox Farms is full of charm and rustic elegance. It’s been a working farm for over 100 years making it a timeless beauty. As a family owned and operated business, you will be treated as such. The staff works to accommodate your needs to make your day memorable.

  • We can completely accommodate parties up to 250 people.

  • If you want to see Black Fox Farms for yourself, simply click the contact us page to schedule a tour.

  • When you contact us for more information about a tour, we can let you know the cost of the event.

  • We do allow alcohol at the venue (beer & wine only along with other requirements). There is a $350 fee required.

  • Clients can book any vendor. We just ask that they follow our guidelines for operation.

  • To hold a date, we require a $500 nonrefundable deposit.

  • You are welcome to take engagement photos on the property but we ask you schedule that ahead of time.

  • Because we are a working nursery, we only offer weddings on Saturdays and Sundays.
