Services and Amenities
Thank you for your interest in Black Fox Farms as a possible venue for your event. We look at you as our personal guest and want to do all we can to help you make this event something truly special and one you will cherish with fond memories. Our goal is to make your experience as enjoyable as we can. We will always be a presence in the background from beginning to end assisting in any way we can to make that happen. Here is what we currently offer in the way of amenities, facilities, and services.
Amenities:
• 20 sixty inch round tables seating eight comfortably or ten in you want to crowd a little
• 1 six foot rectangle table
• 5 eight foot rectangle tables
• 2 forty two inch round tables
• 2 thirty inch round tables (linens for tables are not provided )
• 160 chairs ( our chairs are not white but tan )
• 19 Propane patio heaters that are used for late fall and Christmas events
• 6 Three speed 30 inch oscillating fans and two twenty 24 inch pedestal fans
• A sound system is provided for the barn and or the ceremony site. It has been used for both it just takes a little time to move and set up.
Facilities:
The barn is 130 ft. x 33 ft. and will seat around 250 people and leave room for dancing and food tables. There are separate restroom facilities for gentlemen and ladies, a prep kitchen for caterers and separate dressing facilities for the guys and gals. We use our office cabin which is next to the barn for the girls dressing quarters and just a place where the family can gather and hang out. It also has a kitchen and restroom facility. The upstairs is 24X48 ft. open room that the bride and her attendants use for dressing. The guys dressing quarters can either be in the barn on the 1st floor or in another separate facility on the property.
Services:
Black Fox Farms is a wholesale nursery. We decorate the barn with lighted trees and also shrubs such as hydrangeas, magnolias and other evergreens just to enhance the beauty and feel for you and your guest. We ask the bride to come the Monday prior to the wedding and we take her through the nursery to help her in selecting what she likes and would want to use. We do the decorating with the plants on Thursday and do a final clean up. Then you can come in anytime on Friday to do any other decorating you’d like to do. You will have the use of the property and facilities Friday and Saturday. You are welcome to have your rehearsal dinner on the site if you’d like as well. We will set up all your chairs and tables both in the barn and the ceremony site. We will park all your guest and shuttle them to the ceremony site and then shuttle them back to the parking area as they leave the reception. At the conclusion of the event, we ask that you put all garbage in the containers we provide and take any food that is left. Our crew will come in the next day and empty the garbage, knock all the tables down, stack the chairs and do a final mop down and cleaning.
Restriction and rules:
We don’t have many restrictions in the use of the property. We ask that all activities be concluded by 11:00 pm. and that the property be treated with respect. You are allowed to use fireworks or sparklers . We don’t allow smoking in the barn or other facilities and ask that if you must smoke that you not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
Black Fox Farms is a non-alcoholic venue.
